A while back or so, Mississippi was not following the 30 latitude line, and Tennessee was the state to enforce that line. However, I do see the complications with this issue. I think the line should just stay where it is because it's almost like it's been grandfathered in. BUT I think that Tennessee should be sharing their water because all of Georgia's creeks in the North part of Georgia flow into the Tennessee River. So technically part of that water is Georgia's. So why not share? Also, because Georgia helped out a neighboring state, they should now have to suffer? Tennessee seems to be acting childish with this matter. They should be willing to share "georgia & tennessee" water to Georgia. Also, they should be happy that Georgia was nice enough to help others in need. People should be coming together and working together. Not trying to move state lines or being stingy with things, like water. Both states are wrong in different ways.

Thanks for the info on the shuttles. Our family is planning a vacation down that way and it's nice to know public transportation is a possibility for getting around.

We lived in Chattanooga when the Aquarium opened. I was so excited about going, and one day my (then) husband and I decided that we would go, thinking it was opening day weekend. Well, dressed in our saturday casual...shorts, t-shirts, etc. we parked the car and start the trek to the front door, but as we get closer I noticed all of these folks in their nice dresses and tuxedos. I'm confused, but just assumed that there was some kind of function going on, and that it was business as usual, until we were stopped by a door man and asked if we were there for invitation only-grand opening. I was horrified. We did return later, as casual/paying customers and really enjoyed ourselves. We (minus the then husband) have returned and love it still. Kat

I was reading the Izea blog and thought that was a very nice thing you did for the Izea team so I decided to visit your blog and saw you were for Chattanooga. That's where I was born and raised, but now live in PA. I go back and visit occasionally and it has really grown. Just thought I'd leave you a comment to say hello....Jude

Fryar Bill Auto Service is a con and a rip off company. I sent my van in because it would not pass TN emissions test. It needed a new computer.

He replaced things like belts that I had already replaced a week before. A lot of things it didn't need. And charged me $800.00. I ran it back to emissions, It did not pass.

I called the idiot and he said for $300.00 more he would replace the computer. I asked him what the $800.00 was for. He said parts I needed.
The whole reason I took it to the cons in the first place, it would not pass emissions.

I ended up taking it somewhere else, They replaced a sensor, that bill said they replaced, And passed emissions.

If you check chattanooga BBB.org or www.judysbook.com you will find mine and others reports about this ripoff company.

If you are a senior citizen, stay away from these cons. They will rip you off.
