About
About Alli
I am a one of those people who moved around a lot as a kid- Lexington, VA; Mesa, AZ; Plattsburgh, NY; Germany/ The Netherlands; Lookout Mountain, GA; Charleston, SC; Chattanooga, TN. My dad was a PCA pastor for my first 12 years of life and then he joined the Air Force as an active duty chaplain. This should explain the moving.
I went to Covenant College, high atop Lookout Mountain. When people would ask where I was from I would stammer out, “My dad is in the Air Force.” People would realize I didn’t really have a claim to any one hometown.
After graduating in 1998 I stayed in Chattanooga for various reasons, the most promenient being my boyfriend who later became my husband. This past summer, when my husband, 2 year old son, and I were hanging out downtown I realized that after 8 years of living in the scenic city, I had now lived in Chattanooga the longest I have lived anywhere. And I was so happy to say that Chattanooga is my home, which is why this blog exists, to share my hometown with you.
You can also find out more about me and my family on our family blog CRUMLEYdotORG.
