2006 NCAA Div 1 Football Ever since Chattanooga scored the NCAA Division 1 Football Championship game, our family has tried to make it to the games just to support the cause. The game isn’t just about football but about boosting our city’s economy.

It helps that we like college football in general. It also helps that we usually score free tickets somehow. This year I won two tickets from work, so we plan on making an appearance. That is, if Big Foot doesn’t go.
If you watched the game last year, you may remember a certain segment during the broadcast where Big Foot and Santa Clause were in attendance. While they were enjoying a great game, Big Foot and Santa were also making a statement against the BCS and their messed up system of declaring a national champion. (In our house we call the winner of that game the “mythical champion.”)

Well, I know Big Foot personally and I have no idea if he plans on making an appearance again. But I do know that if he goes, I won’t because the other ticket we have will probably go to someone dressed as Santa Clause… and it won’t be me.

Nice. I sent HTM an email and hopefully they’ll pick me to write about Fayetteville, NC where I live.

So I promised myself that I would definitely go this year, even if it meant missing the football game (which I might do anyway). However, even though I knew it was coming, it never really sank in that the event is tomorrow night. [...]
