Welcome to Chattanooga… Georgia?
Chattanooga was featured in tonight’s NBC Nightly news:
I firmly believe Georgia’s fight for the border change will not come out to their liking. I personally like my husband’s suggestion: if Georgia wants to tap into our water, how about they get serious about the high speed rail between Chattanooga and Atlanta? But if I were to wake up one morning and be old I live in Georgia now, well, guess I’m from the Peach State.

A while back or so, Mississippi was not following the 30 latitude line, and Tennessee was the state to enforce that line. However, I do see the complications with this issue. I think the line should just stay where it is because it’s almost like it’s been grandfathered in. BUT I think that Tennessee should be sharing their water because all of Georgia’s creeks in the North part of Georgia flow into the Tennessee River. So technically part of that water is Georgia’s. So why not share? Also, because Georgia helped out a neighboring state, they should now have to suffer? Tennessee seems to be acting childish with this matter. They should be willing to share “georgia & tennessee” water to Georgia. Also, they should be happy that Georgia was nice enough to help others in need. People should be coming together and working together. Not trying to move state lines or being stingy with things, like water. Both states are wrong in different ways.
