Free movies at Hamilton Place Mall

I took Fuller to the free movies at Hamilton place mall today. It was the first day of the Regal Cinemas Family Film Festival.

The way it works is this: You go to the Hamilton Place Mall information desk a day or so before the movies and ask for tickets. They give you tickets to either the G or the PG movie. The movies start at 10 am and are shown on Tuesday and again on Wednesday. You go into the cinema, buy your popcorn (sorry, it isn’t free), and then go into the theater.

We didn’t go get our tickets from the information desk, we just walked in and there was no problem. But if you are worried about seating, especially as the summer goes on, it might be wise to go get tickets before the day you want to see the movie. Theoretically you could go on Tuesday and see one movie and then again on Wednesday and see the other movie.

We had a good time this morning watching Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit. There was a technical problem near the end of the movie, but they got it going again.

Next week the movies will be March of the Penguins and How to Eat Fried Worms. I am not sure if either of those movies will interest Fuller, but I know that the movies will be a destination place for us many times this summer.
