See 7 States and the world: the 14th Carnival of Cities
To view a special welcome message from your Carnival of Cities host, please wait for it to load. Flash 8 or higher is required to view.
Today, May 21, 2007, is the 75th anniversary of the opening of Rock City. It is a unique attraction featuring rock formations that when observed in the 1800s, the settlers thought the formations resembled a city with natural paths forming streets and rocks piled up as high as three story houses.
One of the reasons people visit Rock City is the view. And yesterday, as I visited the “enchanted trail” and shot the welcome message, I was blessed to be able to see the seven states on a clear, warm day.
As I stated in the video above, I think that the blogosphere is like Rock City, except instead of seeing seven states, with the click of a mouse, you can see the world. I hope you enjoy this edition of the Carnival of Cities. This edition includes blogs from Australia, to England, to Alabama.
You can access all the blogs in today’s carnival from the video above, or from the links below. Enjoy!

Love the video into, Alli! I knew you’d do something creative with this.
I’m sorry I didn’t submit an entry this week, as I hate to miss an edition of the COC. I went away for the weekend, and meant to send a link in before we left, but forgot. Of course I remembered when I was about an hour away from home. (My forehead still hurts from where my palm hit it when I remembered.)
Good job with the carnival, Alli, and all of you brilliant bloggers who remembered to send in a link this week.

What a great idea, Alli! What a wonderful list! Better yet, I almost fell over… you’ve got a submission from the Waianae Coast! OMG! I am finding that woman! Nice one Alli! And I see my bridge is still in tact.
