Lookouts Wednesday specials, BK King to visit AT&T Park Thursday
Tomorrow is the first Wednesday special for the Lookouts season. $6 will get you into the 12:15 game, plus a drink and a hot dog. I think the ball park is the second best place to eat a hot dog. (The first being at a campfire.)
Remember to bring sunscreen and lots of team spirit to cheer on the Lookouts as they play the Carolina Mudcats.
If you can’t get to the Wednesday afternoon game, maybe you can go cheer them on on Thursday night. That’s when the BK King will make an appearance. He and the Lookouts will be visiting an area school earlier that day:
On Thursday May 17, 2007, BK King and Chattanooga Lookouts Players and Coaches are teaming up to treat some students at Spring Creek Elementary to a healthy lunch, provided by two local area BK locations. Approximately 100 students in the C.D.C. and kindergarten classes of Spring Creek Elementary will dine on BK TenderGrill Chicken Sandwiches, Veggie Burgers, Side Salads and Apple Sauce, while they have the opportunity to meet and have pictures taken with the BK King and Coaches of the Chattanooga Lookouts. The King will be making a donation to the school in the amount of $1000. We hope this will be a very special and memorable day for the students of Spring Creek Elementary.
Go Lookouts!
